The GeekWire Gala, our annual festive holiday function, returns to downtown Seattle on Dec. 6 with a night of dancing, cocktails, karaoke and more at the Showbox Market. Grab your early-bird tickets here!
No party at your place of work this year? No problem! The Gala can be your spot to celebrate the season with friends, colleagues, or new acquaintances. If past Galas are any indication, the dress code will range from tuxedos and cocktail dresses to goofy sweaters and other winter fashions. Be yourself, and be ready if you wish to compete for individual and team style prizes — the theme is “Frosted,” so picture a dusting of snowfall.

This year’s GeekWire Gala will also also recognize the region’s “Uncommon Thinkers” — Seattle-area inventors, scientists, technologists and entrepreneurs transforming industries and driving positive change in the world. The historic Showbox Market is located at 1426 1st Ave., near Pike Place Market. The event is 21+ and all attendees must have valid ID to enter.
