News Brief: The Kitsap Sun reports that Radian Aerospace, a stealthy startup headquartered in Renton, Wash., will begin testing rocket engines next year at a facility that’s under construction on a half-acre parcel of land next to an abandoned runway at the southeast corner of Bremerton National Airport. The Sun reports that the lease agreement with the Port of Bremerton is good for one year, with options for extensions. Radian reported a $350,000 funding round last year, with Curtis Gifford and Richard Humphrey listed as executive officers. Gifford declined to comment when GeekWire contacted him last year about the funding round. Radian is linked with Holder Aerospace, a Renton-based engineering company.
